I cover a wide variety of live music events and venues — from festivals and folk or acoustic clubs to open mic nights, pubs, and dedicated music spaces. I love the spectacle and energy of large-scale events, capturing the colour, movement, and atmosphere of performers on big stages with dramatic lighting. But I’m equally at home at smaller gigs, folk nights, or acoustic sessions, where every performance has its own character.
While much of the audience may focus solely on the performers, I’m always observing the details that make a live event unique. From instruments in the hands of performers (or waiting to be played) to sound desks, cables, pedals, set lists, and even half-finished drinks on stage — these elements all tell the story of a show.
My goal is to capture the full experience, creating images that reflect not just the performance on stage, but the atmosphere, the surroundings, and the energy that make each event unforgettable.
Great music photography does more than capture a moment - it tells your story, shows your passion, and connects with your autlience.
