I especially love the spectacle and energy of large-scale events, where dramatic lighting and vibrant performances create an atmosphere that’s full of colour and movement. But I’m just as at home at smaller gatherings — whether that’s a folk night, a band in a local pub, or a club performance.

From Festivals to Folk Nights
Festival season is always busy. I cover weekend and bank holiday events both on and off stage, capturing not just the performances but also the festivalgoers — soaking up the atmosphere, enjoying the bands, discos, raves, and everything in between.
At the other end of the spectrum, I also specialise in smaller venues: pubs, clubs, and acoustic nights where the intimacy between performer and audience tells a different but equally powerful story.
I aim to capture artists both close-up and in context, showing not just the individual but the connection between band members, their instruments, and the space they perform in.
More Than Just the Music
While audiences often focus solely on the performers, I look at the wider picture. Every music event is made up of details that add to the story — instruments waiting to be played, sound desks and pedals, set lists taped to the stage, even a performer’s drink beside the mic stand.
These overlooked details are part of the fabric of a live event, and I make sure to capture them alongside the big moments. My goal is always to reflect the full sense of the occasion — the music, the people, and the atmosphere that brings it all together.
