Last night I finally got to see The Santa Carla Vampire Hunters live at The Black Market Venue — and it did not disappoint.
It was my first time catching them, and from the start, the atmosphere was spot on. Bringing a raw, stripped-back energy, they delivered pure Ilson acoustic rock at its finest. Their set was packed with acoustic covers spanning rock, metal, grunge, and alternative — each one performed with real passion and a unique twist that kept the crowd fully engaged.
There’s something special about hearing heavy and iconic tracks reimagined acoustically, and they nailed that balance between powerful and intimate. The crowd response said it all — a great turnout, great energy, and a genuinely good night all around.
Definitely a band worth checking out if you get the chance.
