Silver Springs Light Up Friday Live – A Debut Worth the Wait
Last night at The Black Market Venue, something quietly brilliant happened. Silver Springs, the newly minted acoustic duo of Connie Fletcher and Peter Scully, made their Friday Live debut — and in doing so, reminded everyone why less can still mean so much more.
What could have been a low-key set quickly transformed into an intimate, joy-filled evening that buzzed with the kind of easy chemistry and genuine musicality that can’t be rehearsed. Connie’s vocals soared — smoky, soulful, and effortless — while Peter’s acoustic work gave each track a backbone of calm authority and fluid rhythm.
From delicate reworks of classic cuts to heartfelt originals, Silver Springs delivered a set built on trust, tone, and total love for the craft. It was warm, it was unpretentious, and it was a damn good time.
Proof that even in a world of noise and overload, two people, a guitar, and the right songs can still hush a room.
